Citation X Wish List Delete

Post by CHASABELA » Tue Jul 02, 2019 10:00 pm

I set up some custom waypoints using Lat/Long. They go in the Wpt List.
Now I need to delete them but cannot do this through the FMS.
Any idea how I can delete or overwrite these non-required waypoints?
Thanks for your help.

Go to your "%appdata%/ESDG/CitationX" folder. Open the ESDG_CitationX.ini file and locate the [WAYPOINTS] section. Set WptCount=0 and delete any lines that start with "WPT." then save the file. Waypoints will be gone.

Hi Ed, unfortunately has not quite worked as yet. I located the file. It had 28 waypoints most from way back. Deleted them all. Waypoints=0 and No waypoints underneath. But when started Citation they still showed up under "Pilot Wpt List" upon pressing the NAV button. So I found the related flight plan and I deleted that too. Still there. There are 3 .GAU files but I don't think they are related. I will have another try and let you know. Also restarted the computer and FSX a few times in the process. Regards.

Check in C:\ProgramData\ESDG\CitationX for the same file.

If there are 3 .GAU files, one in each panel folder... ensure you have a .GAU file in the Gauges folder, and if so, THEN delete the other 3 .GAU files in the panel folders. You should not have gauges in the panel folders with the current install.

Re: Citation X Wish List Delete - Idling Problem

Post by CHASABELA » Fri Jul 05, 2019 5:11 am

Hi Ed just one more little problem. Moving the .GAU files in the appropriate panels took the Waypoints in the Pilot List off. But upon starting, the Engines don't idle and cannot adjust throttle thru the mouse, and the jet start moving quite rapidly. If I take the GAU files out, waypoints are back but engine idles correctly and have access to the throttles. Would it be better to re-download and re-install? Regards Charles Abela

STOP

What I stated was to ensure there was a ESDG_CitationX.gau file in the sim's Gauges folder. Once confirmed that there was, to DELETE the ESDG_CitationX.gau files from the panel folders for the aircraft. The ESDG_CitationX.gau file should be ONLY in the Gauges folder.

I also stated to go to C:\Program Data\ESDG\CitationX and edit the ESDG_CitationX.ini file to remove the waypoints.

Hi,

Well, the .GAU is only in the Gauges of the Sim Folder.
The .ini file is in the \Appdata\Roaming\ESDG\CitationX with no Pilot Waypoints.
The panel has no Gau, no ini and but waypoints still showing but starts okay with N1 24.4.
(If I were to insert an .ini file, the waypoints will not show, but the N1 starts at about 55.0)
