Citation X crashed FSX

Post by Brian » Tue Oct 02, 2018 6:22 pm

Hello,

I just re-installed this aircraft on a new PC and as soon as it shows up in the sim, I notice that the screens (PFD, MFD) are all black. Then, when I scroll through to the next view (2D), and select 'update' or 'exit', the sim crashes.

Not sure if this is relevant, but on the page where you select the aircraft, none of the screenshot images show up.

I am using Windows 10, and this is for the Steam version of FSX.
The downloaded file was obtained today from Eaglesoft's product site.

The desktop icon to the documentation has a readme file outlining the installation path selection to Steam.

See W10 outline here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=38

Okay, I uninstalled the aircraft, then turned off my firewall. I then re-installed (again as admin), and the aircraft seems to be functioning correctly. So, perhaps the firewall was the culprit.
