CXG2 Autopilot and Flight Plan

Post by RyanJZ » Thu Dec 14, 2017 8:26 pm

Hi, I just recently bought the C750, and I seem to be having trouble with the FMC/autopilot LNAV. I have the PFD set to FMC input, and I built the flightplan in the FMC. When I activate LNAV, it flies to the first waypoint then "holds" there. It does not follow the rest of the flight plan. Any ideas what's causing this? I saw the topic to post the flight plan for review, but I don't know how to do that.

The plan began as, or is in a text file format so post it in that manner...

Did you close the flight plan? Did you do both PERF INIT and TAKEOFF INIT? How do you know the PFD is in FMC input? No messages or anything displayed on the PFD/MFD or FMS?

Did you delete discontinuities in your flightplan, if you used departure procedures?

Yes I did. Tonight I'll go through all the procedures again, just to be sure. I will let you know how it goes

Still having this issue.
Here's the flight plan I built from scratch in the FMS
KPVD dct TRAIT J55 HTO VS1 ORF J174 DIW AR19 SEELO AR22 JORAY MLB.ANNEY3 RW09 KMIA
No discontinuities.
How do I find the actual flight plan file to paste here?
I tried to add some screenshots but I keep getting an invalid error message

You built in the FMS and have no copy of what you used to build it? If you read the documentation as mentioned you will find information on FS Built and FMS built plans and a look through your sim help files drop down will ID the location they are stored to.

In my case: C:\Users\User\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files or the corresponding sim platform location.

I asked several questions... they didn't get answered.
