You missed the part where I told you to check C:\Program Data\ESDG\CitationX for the ESDG_CitationX.ini file. With the newer gauge, the file location was moved to avoid OS security issues.

Hi
In Windows 7, I cannot find this path C:\Program Data\ESDG\CitationX
*Please give me further indication how to get to it.
-------
The only path I could find is this: %appdata%\Roaming\ESDG\CitationX
The .ini file is found here.
*IS IT IN THE WRONG PLACE??

Path for the folder C:\Program Data containing ESDG\CitationX is a folder located just below the C:\Program Files (x86) folder on W7

Well the folder I found "under" "C:\Program Files (x86) folder on W7" (but not "within") is a folder called Users and below that Windows.

I inserted the .ini file in USERS, but the Pilot Wpt List still shows these 3 waypoints.

Also, took it out again, and I tried the "Eagle Soft Development Group" Folder - the second folder under Local Disc (C:). Same result as above.

This is consuming too much of your time and I am lost.

My Question is: If I un-install, download and re-install would that be okay. i.e. no licence overuse problem and would it fix the problem?

Regards
Charles Abela
PS Would be more help if I could send you a .pdf

Should appear as below. If not, the OS needs straightened out. Yes you can reinstall but the OS seems to be the problem.

Hi
Well the required folder isn't there.
I have to live with it for a while and re-install Citation if necessary.
Please consider this ticket closed.
Thank you for your help.

Ok.. Program Data is a "hidden" directory. You're going to have to take back control of your computer from Microsoft, tell Windows you want to SEE the hidden system folders.

Assuming you're using Win 10:

1. Access Control Panel
2. Type "folder" into the search bar and select "Show hidden files and folders."
3. Then, click on the View tab at the top of the window.
4. Under Advanced Settings, locate "Hidden files and folders".
5. Click on "Show hidden files, folders and drives".
6. Click on OK.

Hidden files and folders will now be shown in Windows Explorer.

Ok. All Good. Located the folder. Deleted the 4 Pilot waypoints. Changed Counter "=0". Citation X Starts okay. N1 now 24.5 and No Wpts List. Good learning experience. Thanks Regards. Charles Abela.
