Then? it is not important who built it for me; the outstanding thing is that EagleSoft puts it in Eaglesoft Cj1 that SOLD me and advertise it (see gallery on your site if you do not remember) in other words, as you are a commercially correct (as I suppose), you have the duty to try to solve the problem
thanks
Andrea

I have looked at the panel.cfg and it references an FsEFC file, of which I can locate no such DLL file anywhere on my system. I believe that would be an issue. I do not understand what this DLL has inside it, perhaps the autopilot?

Out of town at the moment but will check the installer when I return to the office. ;)

Hi,
on my installation the file referenced in panel.cfg is present in Gauges directory of FSX (FsEFC.gau). In effect the gau is losded correctly when I select it on menu; the message 'Load library error' appears when I click on it

Still not in office but just remembered something key.
David Drouin, the Universal FMS author, left ES shortly after the CJ1+ was released to market.
The net result was the FsEFC gauge gets loaded but does not complete the intended launch of a now primitive electronic charts system leaving that part of the system broken.

We will build a new installer and note the elimination of that feature for future purchasers.
Meantime you are entitled to a refund if owned less than 30 days.
We apologize for the oversight and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. ;)

PS Just noted this last line in the included CJ1+ Hotfix 3.40 PDF

"Please note that this version eliminates the old Chart Viewer due to reliance upon an older Adobe Acrobat Reader. The former "Updateable DB" which attempted to update default sim DB is also eliminated."
