TCS Button

Hello,

I cannot find the TCS button, so that I can map one of my joystick buttons to this function. Is this simulated? If so, how can I achieve that?

I'm using FSX Steam edition.

Thanks,
Julio.

If you mean TCAS Button see the CX20 Controller Manual.pdf

Hi N400QW,

I mean the Touch Control Steering button. That button that is placed on the yoke, and the pilot uses to override the autopilot while pressed, and when the pilot releases the button the autopilot takes over again, with the new attitude.

For example if I'm flying with autopilot engaged in the VS function set to 1000 ft/min, I can press the TCS button, then pull the yoke so that the airplane attitude becomes, say, 1500 ft/min. And then I release the button, and the autopilot assumes that the new desired VS value is 1500 ft/min.

Of course I could simply dial 1500 ft/min manually, but I'm wondering if that button is simulated.

Thanks,
Julio.

If it were simulated it would be documented. Since it is not you can simply dial in manually.

Hi N400QW,

Exactly because the aircraft is well documented, and the documentation is extensive, there could be the chance I missed that in the middle of all the provided content. Thank you for clarifying!

Thanks,
Julio.
